Tax Manager

Certified Public Accounting Firm that has deep relationships in the Healthcare industry

We are searching for a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our CPA firm. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tax compliance and planning for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to ensure that they are compliant with all tax laws and regulations, while also providing them with strategic tax planning advice. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee tax compliance for clients, including the preparation and review of tax returns, estimates, and extensions
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients to minimize their tax liability
• Work closely with clients to ensure they are compliant with all tax laws and regulations
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide guidance to clients
• Review tax provisions and ensure that they are accurate and complete
• Prepare and review compilations and financial statements
• Manage and train junior tax staff
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that all tax-related issues are addressed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Experience with complex pass-through entities
• CPA certification
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and train junior staff members
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
