Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in the finance industry. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our tax compliance and reporting functions, ensuring that we meet all regulatory requirements and provide our clients with the highest level of service. You will work closely with our finance and accounting teams to develop and implement tax strategies that minimize risk and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all tax compliance and reporting functions, including the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns, as well as tax provisions and disclosures
• Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize risk and maximize profitability for our clients
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure that our tax policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors, ensuring that they provide high-quality service and advice
• Provide guidance and support to our finance and accounting teams on tax-related matters, including accounting for income taxes and tax planning
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive process improvements and enhance our overall tax capabilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on tax compliance and reporting
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Experience managing tax compliance and reporting functions for a large organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex tax issues
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best work.
