Tax Manager

We are a small, family oriented CPA firm that is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join us in our Marietta office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and hands on experience preparing and reviewing returns within construction, real estate, manufacturing, distribution, professional services tax, hospitality, and nonprofit. The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance and planning for our clients. This is a full-time permanent position that offers competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and planning for clients
• Review and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofit organizations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service
• Provide tax consulting and planning services to clients
• Research and analyze complex tax issues and provide solutions to clients
• Supervise and mentor tax staff
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance for clients
• Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients
• Assist with business development activities and participate in networking events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or tax consulting
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
• Experience with Construction, real estate, manufacturing, distribution, professional services tax, hospitality, and nonprofit industries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
