Tax Manager

A leading area CPA firm that has won several awards, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic Duluth office. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and planning for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to develop tax strategies that will help them achieve their financial goals. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee tax compliance and planning for clients across various industries, including nonprofit, small business, healthcare, construction, real estate, financial institutions, manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution.
• Prepare and review tax returns, including federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that will help clients minimize their tax liability.
• Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to clients on tax-related issues.
• Manage and train junior tax professionals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of UltraTax, AdvanceFlow, or Go-file Room preferred.
• Experience working with nonprofit, small business, healthcare, construction, real estate, financial institutions, manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
