Local accounting firm is seeking an experienced tax professional.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of complicated tax returns (S-corp, C-corp, Partnership, Individual, Estate, Trust, Gift, etc…) with minimal supervision.
• Prepare or review payroll and sales/use tax returns, monthly or quarterly.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.
• Participate with more experienced personnel in coordinating large client. engagements, identification of problems, tax law and computer model

analysis and helping clients determine optimal strategies.

• Maintain quality client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Have CPA or be CPA eligible
• Knowledge of and have ability to research Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulations
• Knowledge of basic of software packages. Experience with UltraTax & Quickbooks a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills in working with staff and clients
