Tax Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Director to lead our Finance team. This is a vital role that will oversee the company's tax planning and compliance with a focus on enhancing profitability and long-term sustainability. The Tax Director will be responsible for managing and facilitating tax reviews, developing tax savings strategies, and ensuring compliance with necessary tax laws. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a strong background in tax review, compliance, and research with experience in Gift, Trusts & Estates, and High-Net Worth Individual tax returns.

1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
3. Strong background in tax review, compliance, tax research, Gift, Trusts and Estates, and High-Net Worth Individuals.
4. Excellent research and negotiation skills.
5. Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
6. Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
9. Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work with minimal supervision.
10. Proficient with tax preparation software and reporting tools.
