We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director to join our growing accounting firm.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the organization's tax liability
• Manage and oversee all tax-related activities within the organization
• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
• Review and analyze tax returns and financial statements
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance to the finance team
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Provide tax planning advice to senior management
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
• Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Develop and implement tax policies and procedures
• Prepare and present tax reports to senior management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification required
• Experience with CCH ProSystems
• 15+ years of experience in tax accounting and tax planning
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Experience with tax research and analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
