• CPA

Responsibilities:

• Experience across various tax entities and forms is required.
• Lead and oversee complex engagements, ensuring adherence to professional standards, budgets, and deadlines.
• Identify and execute tax planning strategies for clients, aiding in tax savings.
• Proficiently handle intricate corporate, partnership, and personal income tax returns.
• Represent clients during federal or state examinations by tax authorities.
• Demonstrate strong written skills for resolving tax notices.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and records.
• Train and guide junior staff.
• Develop new business prospects.
• Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Active CPA
• At least 5 years experience in a public accounting firm.
• Proficiency in tax and accounting software, preferably Thomson Reuters.
• Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate tax code, compliance, and procedures.
• Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams and clients.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Desirable experience with Vlookup and pivot tables.
