Tax Accountant

• Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations and compile financial statements for accounting clients.
• Assist clients with payroll tax, sales tax reports, and annual information returns.
• Prepare various U.S. and state income tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, and businesses.
• Manage other tax filings for clients and assist in tax planning year-round.
• Collaborate with financial advisors and third parties to address client concerns.
• Maintain a business casual work environment with no overnight travel required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Coursework on track for licensure as a CPA or experienced CPA.
• Member of the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
• Compliance with state and Institute continuing education requirements.
• Familiarity with ProSystem or similar tax software.
• This position is on-site with occasional flexible hours and does not require overnight travel.
