We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Electrical Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining process systems and automation solutions that will improve our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems are efficient, reliable, and meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement process systems and automation solutions that improve our manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement
• Develop and maintain PLC programs to ensure proper operation of our systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our process systems and automation solutions
• Develop and maintain documentation for our process systems and automation solutions
• Ensure that our systems meet all safety and regulatory requirements
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our systems are state-of-the-art
• Optimizes and maintains high level control and automation for the plant operation promoting process improvement.
• Optimizes and performs maintenance in the plant networks, ensuring proper utilization and reliability.
• Optimizes and performs maintenance in the Human Machine Interface (HMI) working closely with Production, perfecting trends, reporting, control, alarms, and displays.
• Optimizes and maintains software and hardware of the Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Optimizes and performs maintenance in the plant WEB server to guarantee its reliable operation.
• Performs maintenance in the plant PLC systems in order to guarantee its continuous and reliable operation.
• Establishes and keep record of inventory levels of spare parts in order to guarantee the stock needed for the plant operation.
• Creates and maintains a working relationship with internal customers.
• Establishes and maintains management records for direct reports, vendors, and work orders.
• Designs, monitor and actively act upon preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensures compliance with Automation, IT, and corporation guidelines.
• Updates existing prints and documentation to reflect any changes to the equipment. Approves vendor supplied prints and documentation as systems changes are implemented.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and process systems
• Strong experience with automation and PLC programming
• Ability to identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with process systems and automation solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for process systems and automation solutions
