We are currently seeking a dynamic Systems Administrator. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth and success of an organization in the construction industry. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks.
Responsibilities:
1. Install and configure software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
2. Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
3. Troubleshoot issues and outages.
4. Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
5. Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
6. Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
7. Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter.
8. Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems.
9. Create and verify backups of data.
10. Respond to and resolve help desk requests.
11. Administer infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software, and other processes.
12. Review application logs.
13. Install and test computer-related equipment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
2. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a systems administrator role.
3. Proven experience with user account support, SCCM, scripting, and desktop support.
4. Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks.
5. Detailed knowledge of system security techniques.
6. Proven experience in troubleshooting and network maintenance.
7. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Knowledge of the construction industry would be advantageous.
12. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
13. CCNA cert (preferred not required)
