Supporting Attorney

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Supporting Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal support in the areas of construction litigation and civil litigation, with a special focus on construction defect matters.
2. Conduct meticulous legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
4. Collaborate closely with lead attorneys and other team members on case strategy and preparation.
5. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations as required.
6. Stay updated on current laws and regulations within the construction and civil litigation sectors, and apply this knowledge to current cases.
7. Manage client relationships, ensuring they are kept informed and reassured throughout the legal process.
8. Participate in continuing legal education programs to maintain and enhance legal competence.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Denver State Bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction litigation, civil litigation, and specifically, construction defect matters.
4. Proven track record of conducting thorough and accurate legal research.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proficiency in using legal research software and other relevant computer applications.
