Our firm is seeking a dynamic, driven, and dedicated Supervising Attorney to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position in the legal industry, specifically focusing on Business Litigation and Personal Injury Defense. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supervising attorneys, a Juris Doctorate, and a valid and active California Bar License. They will also have a minimum of 3 years of experience, including 1-3 years of personal injury law experience and 2 years of law firm experience.

Job Details

As a Supervising Attorney, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of other attorneys within our firm, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure the highest quality of legal representation for our clients. Your duties will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of case management, from intake to resolution.
2. Supervising and mentoring junior attorneys and support staff.
3. Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
4. Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
5. Developing and implementing litigation strategies in line with our clients' objectives.
6. Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
7. Engaging in business development activities to attract new clients and strengthen existing client relationships


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal industry, including 1-3 years of personal injury law experience and 2 years of law firm experience.
4. Proven experience as a supervising attorney, with a track record of effectively mentoring and guiding junior attorneys.
5. Extensive knowledge of business litigation and personal injury defense.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for our clients in a variety of settings.
7. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
8. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
