Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about overseeing the daily operations of construction sites, from planning to completion. As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing construction crews, inspecting sites, ensuring safety standards, and liaising with clients and architects. This role requires a hands-on approach, solid leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all daily operations of the construction site from start to finish.
2. Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedules.
3. Supervise the construction project in all its aspects and stages.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
5. Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel.
6. Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
7. Monitor and ensure the quality of work and materials.
8. Maintain detailed and accurate site reports.
9. Communicate project progress to stakeholders.
10. Conduct regular meetings with project staff and management to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in commercial, schools, education, and medical construction projects.
3. Proficient in using construction management software, particularly Procore.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Strong leadership and management skills.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
9. Good physical condition and stamina to work long hours.
10. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
