Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing and executing large-scale commercial, healthcare, higher education, and K12 construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Manage the day-to-day work of the construction project in a safe and efficient manner
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Review work progress on a daily basis and adjust schedules or plans as needed
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
• Proven track record of managing commercial, healthcare, higher education, and K12 construction projects
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent knowledge of construction material and equipment
• Proficient in construction management software packages
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred
• Relevant certification (e.g. Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Associated General Contractor (AGC) certificate) is a plus
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
