Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our team. This role is pivotal in our organization, playing a crucial part in the successful completion of our construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strong understanding of the construction industry, including expertise in Procore, Commercial Tenant Improvement, DSA Projects, school modernization, and commercial construction.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising all construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and relevant building codes.
2. Managing and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
3. Utilizing Procore software for project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and document control.
4. Overseeing Commercial Tenant Improvement projects, ensuring that all work is completed to client specifications and industry standards.
5. Managing DSA Projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
6. Leading school modernization projects, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
7. Overseeing commercial construction projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
8. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality.
9. Resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
10. Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Superintendent, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a superintendent role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with Procore, Commercial Tenant Improvement, DSA Projects, school modernization, and commercial construction.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control procedures.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. A strong commitment to safety, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.
9. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
