Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget. This role entails managing subcontractors, ensuring safety protocols, maintaining quality control, and adhering to project schedules. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of blueprints and construction management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction activities to ensure project completion within budget and time constraints.
2. Manage and supervise the work of subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with the project plan and quality standards.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure all aspects of the project are followed accurately.
4. Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with all involved parties to ensure timely completion of tasks.
5. Enforce strict safety protocols on-site, ensuring all workers adhere to safety regulations to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
6. Conduct regular quality control inspections, ensuring all work meets or exceeds the company’s quality standards and client expectations.
7. Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
8. Resolve any on-site issues or disputes, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
9. Implement cost-control measures to ensure the project operates within the budget.
10. Continually assess and manage project risks, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a construction superintendent role or similar.
2. Proven experience in managing construction projects from conception to completion.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in blueprint reading, scheduling, safety management, quality control, subcontractor management, and construction management.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise teams.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
8. Proficient in relevant construction software and technology.
9. A relevant degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Valid certification in occupational health and safety is a plus.
