Job Details:

As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from planning to implementation. You will be responsible for managing teams, coordinating with clients and vendors, ensuring quality control, and adhering to budget and schedule constraints. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in project management, construction management, quality control, budgeting, scheduling, construction planning, blueprint reading, and contract management.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams and subcontractors.
3. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
4. Implement and enforce company's quality control policies and safety regulations.
5. Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications.
6. Manage and monitor project budgets and schedules, making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and building codes.
8. Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, and engineers on a regular basis.
9. Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
10. Use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, P6 Scheduling, Bluebeam, and Procore to manage projects and communicate with team members.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 10 years of work experience in a commercial construction environment, including at least 5 years in a leadership role such as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
3. Proficiency in project management, construction management, quality control, budgeting, scheduling, construction planning, blueprint reading, and contract management.
4. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, P6 Scheduling, Bluebeam, and Procore.
5. Ability to travel daily to various job site locations within a 100-mile radius of the office, and occasionally to meetings or events within a 50-mile radius of the office, 4 - 6 times per week.
6. Willingness to take on occasional out-of-town assignments.
