We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Bridge Superintendent. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in the Engineering industry, contributing to large-scale civil construction projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to oversee and manage the construction and maintenance of railroad bridges and roadways, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Permanent Bridge Superintendent is a key member of our team, driving the successful completion of complex construction projects and contributing to our ongoing growth and success.

Responsibilities:

The Permanent Bridge Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and managing all aspects of bridge and roadway construction, from planning and design to construction and maintenance.
• Ensuring that all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Coordinating and supervising the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel.
• Developing and implementing project schedules, plans, and budgets.
• Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.
• Conducting site inspections and monitoring progress to ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
• Resolving any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
• Providing leadership and guidance to construction crews and other personnel.
• Maintaining detailed records of construction activities, including progress reports, safety logs, and other documentation.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of 5-10 years of construction and pile driving experience.
• Extensive experience with civil construction, railroad bridge construction, and railroad construction.
• A strong understanding of bridge and roadway construction techniques and principles.
• The ability to gain Erailsafe clearance.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to coordinate and supervise the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and other professionals.
• A strong commitment to safety, with the ability to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
• The ability to maintain detailed records of construction activities, including progress reports, safety logs, and other documentation.
• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.
