Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Permanent Superintendent to join our fast-growing team in the Engineering industry. This position offers an amazing opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals and manage various projects. As a Superintendent, you will oversee the daily operations of construction projects, ranging from public and private site development to DOT-related activities. Your expertise in paving, civil site construction, and development will be crucial in driving the success of our projects. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget.
2. Oversee the coordination of construction workers, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure productivity and safety.
3. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to plan and develop project schedules and milestones.
4. Ensure that all construction activities are in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
5. Handle any on-site issues or emergencies promptly and professionally.
6. Monitor the progress of projects, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
7. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, providing regular updates and reports on project status.
8. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
9. Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
10. Provide leadership and guidance to your team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the Engineering industry.
2. Proven experience in paving, DOT, public and private site development, and civil site construction.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, safety regulations, and quality standards.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle on-site issues and emergencies.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
7. Ability to read and understand construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
8. Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
9. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
10. Relevant certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or similar would be an advantage.
