Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our team. This role is an integral part of our construction operations, responsible for overseeing all aspects of our commercial construction projects, from planning to completion. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, cost estimation, scheduling, and safety management. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:
The Permanent Superintendent will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, including project planning, scheduling, implementation, monitoring, and closure.

2. Developing and implementing project work plans and reviewing as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

3. Identifying construction management system improvements.

4. Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.

5. Effectively applying our methodology and enforcing project standards.

6. Minimizing our exposure and risk on projects.

7. Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

8. Tracking and reporting team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.

9. Managing project budget and preparing cost estimates.

10. Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards.

11. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols, ensuring all safety procedures are followed strictly by the construction team.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial construction management.

2. Proven experience in cost estimation, scheduling, and safety management.

3. A strong understanding of construction methods, technology, and regulations.

4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.

5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risk.

6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.

7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Proficient in using construction management software and tools.

9. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

10. Relevant certifications in Construction Management, Safety Management or related field will be an added advantage.
