Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile construction projects in the multifamily sector, working closely with a team of skilled professionals. The Superintendent will be the main point of contact on the construction site, responsible for directing site management and coordinating the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, laborers, and other project-related personnel.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all phases of the construction process, ensuring that specifications, building codes, and safety regulations are adhered to.
2. Direct and supervise the work of subcontractors and laborers, ensuring that quality standards are met and timelines are maintained.
3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other team members to plan, organize, and direct activities pertaining to construction.
4. Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to enforce compliance with safety regulations.
5. Coordinate and supervise the delivery and installation of materials and equipment.
6. Develop and implement site management strategies to ensure productivity and efficiency.
7. Resolve any on-site conflicts or disputes between workers or subcontractors.
8. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the progress of the project, including any delays or issues that may impact the completion date.
9. Implement and enforce company policies, rules, and regulations.
10. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry, preferably in the multifamily sector.
2. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to oversee and coordinate large teams.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to work.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
6. Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
7. Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
8. Experience working with developers and managing large-scale construction projects.
9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
10. Certification as a Construction Superintendent or in a related field is a plus.
