Over the past 12 years, we have purchased, developed and sold more than 100 high end residential homes, tract homes and multi-family developments - totaling more than 1,000,000 square feet of Residential Construction and Development.

Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This role is crucial to our company, as it involves overseeing high-end residential construction projects from commencement to completion. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all field operations, subcontractors, and ensuring that the projects are completed within the stipulated time frame, budget, and quality standards. This position requires a commitment to excellence, a keen eye for detail, and a strong ability to lead and inspire a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of high-end residential construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2. Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are performed as per the project plans and specifications.
3. Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site to ensure that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with the project timeline and budget.
4. Maintain a detailed diary of the day-to-day construction site activities, including any subcontractor hours and manpower used.
5. Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure that all work is done according to the set quality standards.
6. Coordinate job-site logistics and ensure that all required materials and equipment are available when needed.
7. Resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and all other stakeholders.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations at the construction site.
10. Prepare and submit regular project reports to the management.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a Superintendent role or similar in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing high-end residential construction projects.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors effectively.
4. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, tools, and safety practices.
5. Excellent ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
6. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
9. Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
10. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be an advantage.
