Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to join our team in the multifamily construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, along with an unwavering commitment to quality and safety. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion. Your duties will include:

1. Supervising all construction activities and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
2. Coordinating and managing subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
3. Ensuring that all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, and taking corrective action as necessary.
5. Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of any issues.
6. Preparing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, and making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
7. Identifying and implementing opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
8. Managing any changes to the scope of work and ensuring that they are properly documented and approved.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on hardscape, concrete, multifamily, multi-family, commercial, and slab projects.
2. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant IT tools.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be an advantage.
