Job Details:

We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. This role is essential to the successful completion of our multifamily and real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the construction of apartments and other multifamily dwellings. The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning to the final handover. They will manage a team of workers, coordinate with other departments, and ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time position that requires a commitment to excellence, strong leadership skills, and a passion for the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management including project planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
2. Managing and coordinating the activities of the construction team and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
3. Ensuring compliance with all safety and construction regulations and standards.
4. Conducting regular site inspections and providing quality control for all construction activities.
5. Communicating effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
6. Resolving any issues, problems, or delays that may impact the progress of construction.
7. Preparing and submitting project reports and updates to stakeholders.
8. Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
9. Implementing and maintaining construction, quality, and safety plans.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Superintendent position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, specifically with multifamily, real estate, and apartments.
2. Proven track record of successfully completed construction projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
4. Strong leadership and project management skills.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
7. Proficiency in construction management software.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
