We are seeking an experienced Permanent Superintendent to oversee our local construction projects. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, manage resources, and coordinate with various teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

2. Ensure that all construction activities align with architectural and engineering plans, and comply with building, safety codes, and other regulations.

3. Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, participate in the selection process of subcontractors, and establish a positive working relationship with all parties involved.

4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.

5. Manage logistics, including scheduling of work, delivery of equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and meet construction deadlines.

6. Handle any on-site issues or emergencies with professionalism and in a timely manner.

7. Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, addressing any delays or issues and providing solutions.

8. Coordinate and supervise construction projects from the conceptual development stage through final construction, ensuring that projects are completed timely and within budget.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.

2. Proven experience in restaurant construction projects, particularly in building Burger King restaurants or similar fast-food chains, is highly desirable.

3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and regulations.

4. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.

5. Exceptional leadership and project management skills with the ability to supervise and inspire a team.

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Proficiency in construction management software.

9. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.

10. Certification from a recognized body in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
