Superintendent - Sonoma County Winery and Hospitality Projects

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the project from start to finish.
• Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Work closely with project managers, project engineers, and project coordinators to manage day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure the project is progressing according to plan.
• Ensure that subcontractors adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including the owner, architect, and other key players.
• Manage project schedules and budgets using Microsoft Project and Procore software.
• Manage project documents using DropBox and other digital platforms.
• Monitor and report project progress to project managers and stakeholders.
• Train and supervise site assistants, including assistant superintendents and skilled laborers.
• Perform quality control inspections of work in progress and completed work.
• Ensure that the project site is clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent supervising project teams
• Extensive experience with ground-up commercial projects (hotel/resort, winery, restaurant, and high-end commercial project experience strongly preferred)
• Complete and detailed understanding of project drawings, specifications, and details
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, MS Project, Bluebeam/Adobe, P6, and Procore (or similar project management software)
