Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Superintendent for our Multi-Family Construction division. This is a dynamic role where you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of multi-family residential projects from beginning to end. You will be the main point of contact for on-site operations and will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join a fast-paced and growing team.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Superintendent, you will:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle and manage all project construction activities.
2. Coordinate and supervise the work of all construction workers and subcontractors at the job site.
3. Utilize Procore software to track project progress, manage RFIs, and update project schedules.
4. Ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
6. Develop and manage project budgets and ensure project is completed within cost parameters.
7. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
8. Resolve any problems that may arise during construction process.
9. Schedule and manage subcontractor activities and ensure all deadlines are met.
10. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a superintendent role in the construction industry, specifically with multi-family projects.
2. Proven experience in managing construction projects from start to finish.
3. Proficient knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
4. Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.
5. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
6. Excellent project and budget management skills.
7. Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
8. Ability to resolve conflicts and disputes in a professional manner.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
10. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
