Superintendent - Locally-focused Commercial General Contractor 🏗️👷‍♂️🚜

Responsibilities:

• Manage subcontractor’s scopes to avoid change orders
• Microsoft Project- Learn and use this program
• Assist Project Manager in preparing for OAC meetings
• Complete meeting minutes in the approved format and execute action items
• Keep a current running set of red-lines to be easily turned in for project close out
• Collect (from subcontractors) and maintain all MEP permits through final signatures
• Track potential change orders for client and subcontractors and report approve/not approved
• Perform safety meetings
• Fill out daily reports on the approved excel template
• Put together weekly updates and photos to send to client
• Prepare, send out and maintain schedule, send to subcontractors, have current schedule at all OAC meetings
• Collect bids from subs when necessary and turn in to Project Managers
• Create solutions when presented with challenges
• Ability to learn from and help others learn from you
• Provide innovative ideas to allow business functions to operate more effectively and efficiently

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent supervising project teams
• Extensive experience with ground-up commercial projects (custom home, winery, retail, office, and multifamily project experience strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with Procore, Sage Timberline, MS Project, and other MS Office Applications
