Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Superintendent for Interiors to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on top local projects, earning a highly competitive salary. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of interior construction, from planning to implementation. Your focus will be on commercial interior, interior buildouts, interior estimating, and corporate interiors. You will also be expected to handle interior renovations and buildouts for various sectors including restaurants, hospitality, and retail interiors.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Superintendent for Interiors, you will:

1. Oversee and direct interior construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review and understand project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure that the project stays within budget and on schedule.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their tasks and responsibilities.
4. Review work progress on a daily basis and troubleshoot any arising problems.
5. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
6. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, providing input on interior design and buildout.
7. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
8. Comply with all legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Superintendent for Interiors position will have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry, specifically with a focus on interiors.
2. Proven experience in commercial interior, interior buildouts, interior estimating, corporate interiors, and interior renovations.
3. Knowledge of building products, construction details, regulations, and quality standards.
4. Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
5. An understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
6. Proficiency in using construction management software packages.
7. Strong leadership and management skills.
8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
9. A team player mentality, with an ability to work well with diverse teams.
10. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is a plus.
