Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our thriving construction team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make significant contributions to our projects and be an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and other workers on construction sites.
• Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.
• Implement and enforce all company and site-specific safety policies.
• Evaluate blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the scope of work, required contents of the material, and cost.
• Monitor the acquisition of materials and equipment necessary for projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work phases and tasks.
• Review, interpret, and implement electrical specifications and regulations.
• Coordinate with utility companies for the relocation or installation of services.
• Conduct quality control and safety inspections, providing feedback to the construction team.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven experience supervising and coordinating the activities of a team.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and regulations.
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficient in using electrical and construction software.
• Certified Electrical Supervisor or similar license would be a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
