Growing Commercial Construction firm has an urgent need for an experienced Superintendent for their Cherry Hill projects. This role will remain local for all future projects, so no travel is required!

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction as a Superintendent or similar role, overseeing teams for quality and safety. Must be someone who has a strong eye for quality control and safety for the teams and is looking for a permanent position. They have a ton of work to keep you busy the next 5 years!

Project sizes ranged from $250k-$20M and it's mostly government based construction, anything from maintenance to ground up, offering lots of diversity in projects.

We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Construction Superintendent to join our team in Cherry Point, NC.

The Construction Superintendent is independently responsible for managing all field activities, ensuring the proper performance of all subcontractors in the safety, quality, and timeliness of their work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage the project schedule to a safe, timely, and successful completion.
• Co-conduct regular Subcontractor coordination meetings with the Project Manager.
• Identify and resolve all on-site project-specific issues in conjunction with the Project Manager and escalate the necessary issues up to the appropriate person.
• Prepare and distribute all necessary project documents including, but not limited to: daily reports, 3-week look ahead schedule, incident reports, safety inspection reports, permits, investigation reports, etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of commercial construction means and methods and a thorough understanding of industry practices. (5 year minimum)
• Proficiency in MS Office software, as well as Bluebeam (preferred).
• Ability to foster strong relationships with subcontractors, owners, and engineers.
• Must meet the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance: OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR.
• Must have valid Driver's License, acceptable driving record, and be able to obtain access to military installations.
