Job Details:

We are seeking a committed and experienced Permanent Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. This role requires an individual with a strong technical background and a passion for design. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of structural analysis, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Seismic Design, construction management, and steel design. Familiarity with Revit and Building Structural Engineering is also a requirement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that designs and oversees the construction of various projects, ensuring their stability, strength, and longevity.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, plan, and supervise the construction of infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

2. Conduct detailed structural analysis of original, ongoing, and future projects, ensuring they are safe, stable, and durable.

3. Develop design ideas using CAD software, specifically Revit, and produce draft designs to be reviewed by clients and other stakeholders.

4. Collaborate with architects, construction personnel, and clients to understand the project requirements and translate them into practical and efficient structural designs.

5. Conduct site inspections to ensure the construction is in line with the approved design and to monitor the project's structural integrity.

6. Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

7. Perform risk management for each project, identifying potential problems and implementing solutions to mitigate any potential risks.

8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural design and adapt them into the current design processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on structural design and analysis, seismic design, construction management, and steel design.

3. Proficiency in using design software such as Revit and other CAD software.

4. Strong knowledge of Building Structural Engineering and the ability to apply this knowledge in practical scenarios.

5. Excellent project and construction management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

6. Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to assess structural designs and identify potential issues.

7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, architects, construction personnel, and clients.

8. A valid professional engineer's license would be an added advantage.

9. A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to ensuring the safety and durability of structures.

10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on the quality of work.
