Looking for Senior level Storage Engineers who thrive working in fast paced Super Computer environments!

Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Storage Engineer to join our fast-paced Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and implementing storage solutions, with a specific focus on Pure Storage and High-Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster. This role will serve as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems, responsible for successful provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. Responsibilities:

1. Design, plan and implement enterprise-wide system solutions.
2. Manage and maintain a robust, secure and optimized data and infrastructure system.
3. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
4. Develop and implement data storage solutions, including Pure Storage and HPC Cluster.
5. Manage and ensure optimal operation of all server hardware, including the mainframe, storage devices and various servers.
6. Evaluate, improve and maintain the information security throughout the system.
7. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and data restoration.
8. Performance maintenance, including system upgrades, patch management, and system backups.
9. Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure consistent storage provisioning, uptime, regulatory compliance and data protection.
10. Collaborate with team members to provide advice and technical training.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 5+ years of experience in a Linux Engineering role.
3. Proven experience with Pure Storage, HPC Cluster, Data Management, Storage Solutions, and Data storage.
4. Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
5. Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding.
6. Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools.
7. Familiarity with programming languages API.
8. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
9. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and assignments.
10. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
