We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Mechanical Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with a deep understanding of the engineering industry, particularly in the areas of sensor technology, data acquisition systems, analog and digital signal processing, test systems, measurement systems, and performance design evaluation. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Staff Mechanical Test Engineer, you will be tasked with:

1. Designing, developing, and implementing test systems and measurement systems to evaluate the performance of our products and systems.
2. Utilizing your knowledge of sensor technology and data acquisition systems to improve our testing processes and outcomes.
3. Leveraging your skills in analog and digital signal processing to enhance the functionality and performance of our products.
4. Collaborating with other engineers and professionals on projects, offering your expertise in Python, JMP, fabrication, CAD, and avionics.
5. Conducting thorough and detailed testing to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
6. Analyzing and interpreting test data, providing reports and insights to guide our product development and improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience with sensor technology, data acquisition systems, analog and digital signal processing, test systems, and measurement systems.
4. Proficiency in Python, JMP, fabrication, CAD, and avionics.
5. A strong ability to evaluate performance design and make necessary adjustments.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
7. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
