Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning and execution of audit engagements, ensuring a high level of client service.
• Evaluate financial and operational processes to identify areas of risk and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and review audit work papers and reports with detailed findings and recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all audit procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business and meet their audit needs.
• Participate in professional development activities to improve technical knowledge and enhance professional skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Recent graduates will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify financial discrepancies and recommend effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from clients and team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or working towards it would be considered an asset.
