Job Details:
We are on the hunt for a seasoned and dynamic Senior Tax Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. Our ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual who can expertly navigate the complexities of tax accounting. With a primary focus on tax planning and compliance, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns (1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065) for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
2. Utilizing CCH software for tax return preparation and tax research.
3. Assisting with tax planning and research, resolving tax notices from taxing authorities.
4. Maintaining and fostering client relationships, ensuring high-quality customer service.
5. Proactively interacting with key client management to gather information, resolve tax-related issues, and make tax planning suggestions.
6. Participating in client meetings and collaborating with the tax team to prepare and deliver well-planned and effective communications.
7. Staying updated about current tax practices and changes in tax law.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Accountant role will have:

4 - 7+ years experience preferred

CPA preferred, Enrolled Agent may be acceptable; (MUST have one or the other)

High net worth experience is ideal, not required

Experience preparing Forms 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S and 1065
