Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Sr. Superintendent with a background in Healthcare/Life Sciences to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the construction of healthcare and life science facilities, including hospitals, medical laboratories, and higher education construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in commercial construction, particularly in ground up construction projects.

Responsibilities:

As our Sr. Superintendent, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2. Coordinating and supervising all construction activities on-site.
3. Ensuring that all projects are executed in compliance with the contract specifications, budget, and schedule.
4. Liaising with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Implementing and maintaining safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all workers.
6. Regularly inspecting the construction site to ensure that workmanship conforms to specified standards.
7. Managing and resolving any issues, delays, or problems encountered on-site promptly and efficiently.
8. Preparing and submitting regular project progress reports to management.
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this exciting role, you must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Sr. Superintendent in the construction industry, ideally with a focus on healthcare and life science facilities.
2. Proven experience in commercial construction and ground up construction projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
4. Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
6. The ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
