Job Details:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Sr. Project Engineer for our Commercial Tenant Improvement (TI) division. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, contributing to our success by delivering top-tier commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, who is passionate about overseeing construction projects from the ground up. Project Size $1M-15M+ The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the execution of commercial tenant improvement (TI) construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of project team including architects, engineers, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sr. Project Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in commercial tenant improvement (TI) and commercial ground-up construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of construction project management principles and practices.
• Strong familiarity with construction and project management software tools.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations.
• OSHA safety certification is a plus.
