Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Internal Auditor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a global organization, contributing significantly to our business's financial integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations. They will also be required to ensure compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and perform financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.
2. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and procedures.
3. Identify and document areas of risk and develop risk mitigation strategies.
4. Prepare and present detailed audit reports and findings to senior management.
5. Provide recommendations to enhance the internal control environment and improve operational efficiency.
6. Assist in the development of the annual audit plan and perform special projects as assigned.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and best practices.
8. Collaborate with external auditors as necessary.
9. Utilize SAP software for auditing purposes and recommend improvements.
10. Provide training and guidance to junior staff.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
2. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor and/or an MBA, desired.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
4. In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proficient in using SAP software for auditing purposes.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
