We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing organization where you will play a critical role in driving business decisions and ensuring the financial health of our company. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be expected to provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management.

***This role is on-site full-time in our manufacturing plant environment ***

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to influence strategic decisions and business planning, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales inventory and operations supply planning reports.
  • Oversee cost allocations, inventory costing, and manage plant manufacturing financials.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Use SAP to manage financial data and generate insightful reports.
  • Leverage your proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to present financial data and reports in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
  • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
