This position owns and leads supplier relationships that have significant impact to business segment success and manages cross-functional project initiatives on behalf of department.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
• 2+ years' Supply Chain experience
• 5+ years' sourcing/purchasing experience
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities:

• Critical negotiating and competitive bidding skills to deliver cost control and reduction with current and prospective suppliers.
• Managing supplier contracts and continuous supplier performance evaluation relative to business needs and market conditions.
• Analyzing category spend to initiate restructuring of vendor base to achieve cost savings goals.
• Continuous improvement to drive innovation for all products within assigned product categories.
