SQL Developer

We are on the hunt for a seasoned SQL Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining SQL Server databases for our company. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
• Investigate exceptions concerning asset movements, using SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and HighJump.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
• Build and maintain SQL scripts, indexes, and complex queries for data analysis and extraction.
• Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members.
• Design and create data storage objects and data input parameters to support the use of Business Intelligence tools.
• Manage and maintain data in Microsoft SQL Server environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements.
• Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Implementation of data dashboards to display data in differing formats.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming.
• Experience with HighJump, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
• Experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases.

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
