We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the HVAC field, with a particular emphasis on plumbing, mechanical contracting, hydronic systems, and service technician roles. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Service Technician: HVAC, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components, including heaters, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and equipment, and determine the best course of action for repair or replacement.
3. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machinery continues to run smoothly and systems operate efficiently.
4. Inspect and test HVAC systems and components to ensure they are in good working order.
5. Respond to emergency call-outs for HVAC issues in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that HVAC systems and components meet production requirements.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, and ensure that work areas are kept clean and free of hazards.
8. Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
9. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and technologies in the HVAC field, and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Service Technician: HVAC role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HVAC service technician role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with plumbing, mechanical contracting, and hydronic systems.
3. A thorough understanding of HVAC systems and components, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage time and tasks effectively.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
7. A valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to different job sites as required.
