We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Transportation Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position in the engineering industry, focusing on transportation projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Caltrans, surveying principles, and materials sampling, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality and cost-effective solutions. This role is ideal for a professional with 10-15 years of experience in the field and a PE license in California.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Transportation Project Manager, you will:

1. Manage and oversee transportation projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
2. Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government bodies.
3. Apply your expertise in Caltrans, surveying principles, and materials sampling to deliver high-quality solutions.
4. Utilize your leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
5. Ensure all work is in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including those set by Caltrans.
6. Conduct site inspections and assessments, identifying any potential issues and implementing solutions.
7. Provide regular reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
8. Continuously stay updated with industry trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to your work.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Transportation Project Manager position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on transportation projects.
3. A PE license in California.
4. Proven experience with Caltrans, surveying principles, and materials sampling.
5. Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and development, staying updated with industry trends and advancements.
9. Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
10. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
