We are currently seeking a dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented Senior Trade Planning & Execution Manager to join our thriving Manufacturing team. This permanent position will be pivotal in driving our business forward, ensuring we maintain our competitive edge in the market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic trade plans, managing profit and loss, and leveraging cutting-edge tools such as SAP and Blacksmith to optimize our operations. The individual will play a crucial role in shaping our future, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure our business objectives align with market trends and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement robust trade strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with our broader business objectives and market trends.
2. Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimization, driving increased profitability and market share.
3. Manage the profit and loss of the trade portfolio, monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
4. Leverage advanced tools such as SAP and Blacksmith to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making capabilities.
5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to trade planning and execution.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, championing innovation and best practice to enhance our competitive edge.
7. Oversee the development and management of key customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the trade planning team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field. An MBA would be a distinct advantage.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) ; 5 + years experience in a leadership role
3. Proven track record in P&L management, with the ability to understand and interpret complex financial data.
4. Extensive experience with SAP and Blacksmith, or equivalent systems, with a strong understanding of their application within a trade planning and execution context.
5. Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate others.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
8. High level of commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, delivering results on time and within budget.
10. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
