We seek an experienced and dynamic Senior Tax Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and manage complex tax situations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a tax manager, a deep understanding of the financial landscape, and a proven track record in delivering 100% review.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Tax Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of tax compliance for our HNWIs, including federal, state, and local tax returns.
2. Providing our clients with strategic tax planning and consulting, helping them navigate complex tax situations and minimize their tax liabilities.
3. Conducting 100% review of all tax returns and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing exceptional customer service, and acting as their trusted tax advisor.
5. Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
6. Keeping abreast of tax laws and regulations changes and advising clients on how these changes may impact their tax situation.
7. Collaborating with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to client service and identifying opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Manager position will have:
1. At least three years of experience as a Tax Manager, preferably in the finance industry.
2. Experience working with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and a deep understanding of the unique tax challenges they face.
3. A proven track record in conducting 100% review, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
4. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
5. Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring a team.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly and understandably.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and address client needs before they arise.
