Senior Tax Manager

An established accounting firm in Raleigh NC is looking for an onsite Senior Tax Manager! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating tax compliance, planning, and strategy. This is a permanent role, offering a unique opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and a team of dedicated professionals. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their unique needs and provide a tailored service.
• Mentor and coach a team of tax professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
• Advise clients on a variety of tax issues including tax compliance, tax planning, and tax strategy.
• Conduct detailed technical reviews of corporate, partnership, individual, and pass-through business tax returns.
• Stay updated with industry trends and developments in tax law to provide the most effective advice to clients.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of tax data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in business development efforts to expand the company’s client base and reputation.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, including leadership responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting procedures.
• Demonstrated experience with pass-through business entities.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
