Senior Tax Associate

The primary responsibility of this position to provide tax compliance services to the company by performing detail-level reviews of partnership workpapers, allocations, and tax returns. You will identify complex tax issues and provide tax analysis for a variety of entities while working with cross-functional internal departments.

Assist with annual preparation of tax returns (operating partnerships, real estate partnerships, S-Corporations)
Knowledge and experience with tax issues related to C-Corps, S-Corps and Partnerships.
Assist with IRS and state tax authority tax notices and audits.
Work with various departments, primarily legal, accounting and finance, to gather information necessary for tax return preparation.
Ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies.
Maintain proficiency with respect to current tax laws and tax law changes including the ability to perform tax

• At least 3 or more years of experience of relevant tax work (partnerships and s corporations)
• Experience training and mentoring staff and interns.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work overtime as needed to meet investor and governmental deadlines
