We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Senior Tax Associate to join our fast-paced Finance team. This exciting role will offer the successful candidate a unique opportunity to grow and develop their career within a supportive and challenging environment. The Senior Tax Associate will provide a wide range of tax services to our clients, including preparation and review of tax returns, tax planning, and tax research. This position requires a deep understanding of tax accounting principles and a high level of analytical skills to interpret tax legislation.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Tax Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
2. Assisting with tax planning and research, including understanding and interpreting tax legislation.
3. Providing tax advisory services to clients, ensuring they are compliant with all tax regulations and legislation.
4. Assisting with the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
5. Collaborating with other team members to provide comprehensive tax solutions to clients.
6. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.
7. Assisting with internal tax compliance and reporting requirements.
8. Providing training and mentoring to junior tax associates.
9. Liaising with tax authorities and providing tax audit support for clients.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Permanent Senior Tax Associate position, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of three years of experience in a tax role, preferably within a public accounting or consulting firm.
3. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and case laws.
4. Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
8. High level of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
10. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
